A new location of Floor Coverings International is currently being established (opening in April 2024) and we are looking for key team members to help grow the business from the ground up. This location will be based in Leesburg, Virginia but will serve customers located in Loudoun County, Clarke County, Centreville, Chantilly, and Gainesville.

As a member of the office staff at Floor Coverings International, you are key to the growth and expansion of the local franchise. Your success will allow for more proposals to be written, lead the scheduling and installation of projects, assist with marketing efforts, and help maintain clean financials.

 Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service (Prospects and Existing Customers)
  • Create raving fans by providing extra mile service.
  • Answer incoming phone calls from prospects and current customers.
  • Convert leads to appointments for the sales team.
  • Follow up on open proposals as needed.
Operations / Production
  • Meet with sales staff weekly to discuss recent sales and review customer expectations and product orders.
  • Accurately order all products needed for jobs and follow up on delivery. 
  • Visit warehouse or project sites if needed to assist the owner.
  • Schedule the job to meet the schedule of customer and installers.
  • Communicate with installers and customers on start dates and times.
  • Update the customer with ongoing details of installation and job progress.
  • Discuss and obtain written permission for any changes in contracted work.
  • Confirm scope of work and compensation with installers prior to start of job.
  • Update Salesforce/production board daily with status of job and upcoming schedule.
Financials
  • As a job is landed and produced, complete the job costing form with the pertinent details.
  • Accurately update QuickBooks daily for all income and expenses.
  • Track, prepare and manage timely payment of business-related expenses.
Marketing
  • Most of our marketing will be taken care of, but this role will involve some execution/assistance with local marketing tactics and social media as time is available.
  • Support and participation in home shows.
Continuous Improvement
  • Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with the owner and weekly all-hands meetings.
  • Submit GS&R (Goal Setting & Review) prep form weekly via email.
  • Work weekly and monthly to meet goals.
  • Be available to attend ongoing training seminars as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Customer service, hospitality, or construction project coordinator background.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Experienced in bookkeeping using QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and problem solve as needed.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
