- Customer relationship management: act as the primary point of contact for customers from the moment the sale is closed, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication throughout the project.
- Project coordination: schedule and coordinate projects to align with customer needs and installer availability. This includes site visits, reviewing orders and overseeing the timely delivery of materials before the job begins.
- Job scheduling & communication: update customers on start dates, timelines and the scope of work. Ensure customers are informed about the progress of the installation and any changes made during the project.
- Team collaboration: meet with branch staff weekly to discuss sales, customer expectations and product orders. Participate in weekly meetings with the Franchise Owner and team.
- Installer & vendor management: manage installer relationships, ensuring high-quality and timely service. Oversee vendor relationships and resolve any issues that arise during the job.
- Conflict resolution: address and resolve conflicts and customer complaints promptly, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- On-site quality control: conduct regular job site visits to ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Documentation & accountability: ensure proper documentation of each project, including before-and-after photos. Keep track of job status and updates in the system.
- Sales & performance goals: work towards meeting weekly and monthly sales and installation goals, maintaining a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Job completion: walk the customer through the finished project, ensuring everything meets expectations and collect final payments.
- Hands-on support: provide support in the field as needed, leveraging your flooring experience to troubleshoot issues, guide installers and ensure quality craftsmanship.
- Event & show participation: represent the company at local events and shows when required.
- Flooring installation experience and knowledge preferred; some sales experience preferred.
- Proven background in project management, with hands-on expertise to assist and support crews during the installation process.
- Leadership & communication: strong leadership skills to manage installers and handle conflict effectively. Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Organization & multitasking: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized.
- Problem solving: demonstrated ability to resolve challenges productively and make decisions independently.
- Professional image: maintain a professional appearance and attitude, embodying the core values of Floor Coverings International.
- Tech-savvy: comfortable using various computer systems to track progress and communicate with customers and installers.

- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Must have a vehicle to transport materials; truck/van preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a company background check.
- Must be comfortable with working in a team atmosphere and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for work-related appointments.
- Competitive salary: $55,000 - $65,000, based on experience.
