Position: Production Coordinator: As Production Manager at Floor Coverings International, you will be instrumental in leading our production and supporting our business growth. Serving as a point of contact for our valued customers, you’ll ensure their satisfaction from start to finish. This role demands strong leadership, outstanding multitasking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail to uphold our standards of excellence. Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience in flooring installation and production management.
Excellent Communicator: Skilled in both phone and in-person interactions to ensure seamless coordination.
Strong Industry Network: Established connections with reliable installers and suppliers.
Production Management Skills: Proficient in planning, scheduling, and optimizing workflows for efficient production.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using various computer systems and industry-related software (ex. Salesforce, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Proactive Planner: Anticipates challenges and adapts strategies to ensure project success.
Growth-Oriented Mindset: Excited to contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Organizational Excellence: Highly organized, with a strong ability to multitask and manage details effectively.

Transportation: Will offer mileage for use of own vehicle until vehicle is provided.
Valid Driver’s License: A current license is required.
Compliance: Willingness to undergo and pass a background check.

Production Coordinator: Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Sales Support: Assist sales team; join for complex quotes as needed.
Communication: Keep customers and installers informed of project timelines and updates.
Team Collaboration: Lead weekly meetings to review new sales and active projects.
Installer & Vendor Management: Recruit, vet, and manage installers and vendors to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
Conflict Resolution & Quality Control: Conduct job site visits to ensure quality standards and resolve issues with customers and crews effectively.
Inventory, Warehouse & Cost Management: Oversee product storage, manage job-specific orders and tracking, and allocate materials to control job costs efficiently.
