About the Role:
Join Floor Coverings International of South Miami-Dade County as a Tile Installer, where you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces with beautiful tile installations. We are looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tile to fit specific areas, ensuring precise installations.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including cleaning and leveling.
- Mix and apply mortar and grout according to specifications.
- Install various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist in project planning and timeline management to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tile installer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of tile types, installation techniques, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Certification or training in tile installation is a plus.
