About the Role
Are you a motivated, customer-focused sales professional with a passion for design and home improvement? Floor Coverings International of Monterey is seeking a Design Associate / Outside Sales Consultant to bring the showroom experience directly into clients’ homes. You’ll help customers select flooring solutions that fit their style, budget, and lifestyle — all while building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes to understand needs and guide flooring selections.
- Use your design knowledge to create functional, beautiful solutions.
- Manage the process from consultation to installation with attention to detail.
- Build long-term relationships and referral networks.
- Utilize our tech-driven sales system (tablet/laptop) to stay organized.

- Base Salary $50,000 + Uncapped Commission

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in in-home or outside sales (flooring experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of flooring products and trends
- Customer-first mindset with exceptional communication and follow-through
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Tech-savvy with CRM and quoting tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
